The purpose of KCAA (Kansas County Appraisers Association) Grant in Aid is to assist deserving regular and associate KCAA members to gain professionalism with grants for costs to attend meetings, classes and conferences for the KCAA, International Association of Assessing Officers, herein referred to as IAAO, and the North Central Regional Association of Assessing Officers, herein referred to as NCRAAO.
The KCAA Grant in Aid shall be administered by the Grant In Aid/Education Committee. The Chair and the members of the committee shall be appointed by the president of KCAA.
Grants may be for any amount up to the full tuition or registration. Grants will be based on need and professional goals. The Grant in Aid/Education Committee will have final approval of the amount to be granted.
Applicants can request funds by completing the GIA application form and submitting it for consideration. The submission deadline is May 15. The committee will make a decision within 3-4 weeks after the submission deadline.
All grant recipients shall provide a report summarizing the benefits received after attending the approved function.
